We had an amazing week at this wonderful campsite. We loved our huge pitch, fire pit and canopy, and the children had a fantastic time playing in the woods with their new friends. We enjoyed the communal barbeque and bat walk. Thanks so much to David and Sarah for making Kitewood such a special place.

Superb place to camp, brilliant and lovely people, fabulous part of the world to visit. We NEVER go to the same place twice but for Kitewood we're going to make the exception! Thanks David, Sarah, Flynn and Penny for making our stay so memorable…

We stayed here for a few days at the end of August. It's the best campsite we have ever been to. Wonderful large and private pitches, own tarp covered area which housed our campfire and picnic table. With the added bonus of our own compost loo, it was perfect in every way. Totally relaxing and an opportunity to get away from it all. Both David and Sarah were perfect hosts and the children just loved wandering around the woods, playing in the kids-only areas and making dens. It's what camping is all about, we can't wait to book again for next year when we hope to stay longer and for a few short breaks too.

I can easily say this is the best camping experience we have had. Fantastic hosts in David and Sarah, and their very own Ray Mears, Bushcraft Ben. The kids loved the freedom to roam, den building, camp craft and generally charming feel that surrounded us. The beautiful weather helped, although I quite fancied a cosy night in with rain on canopy with a toasty fire - maybe next time. Thank you again and we’ll be sure to revisit.
